FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is your cancellation policy?

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, which means if you are unable to attend session I request that you contact me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee. This policy is covered in greater detail in my informed consent document.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes, I am happy to provide adjusted rates for those who require a sliding scale to afford sessions. As this is decided on a case-by-case basis, it is something we can discuss more together.

What Payment options do you offer?

You will be charged via credit card though Simple Practice and/or Thrizer. If you would need a different payment option, I will be happy to discuss. 

What video conferencing platform do you use?

All Telehealth sessions will be conducted through Simple Practice. Before our first session, I will create a profile for you which will allow you to fill out all required documents. Simple Practice will also send you an email 24 hours before our appointment with the link to our video session. 

Do you take insurance?

While I do not offer insurance, I provide a service called Thrizer that automatically submits superbills for you and allows you to only pay your co-insurance for my sessions, which could save you on average 70 percent on my full rate every session.

What if I am running late to session?

If you are running late to a session, please notify me that you will be late or need to reschedule the session. If I am running late, I will extend you the same courtesy.

What if I lose internet mid-session?

If technical issues arise on either your side or mine, I will give you a call and finish the session via phone.
